Wine Rep Days

It was so good to see you. I like the way your eyes sparkle

So every morning I’ve been taking my 2 Border Collies and now my Bengal kitties have joined me on a walk to the top of the Tempranillo vineyard. The weather has been so nice and I feel I’m getting stronger physically and mentally.

I like change, actually challenged by change. Not scary whether I make it or it’s determined by someone else but as I keep traveling the same road I’d like to think I’m taking the right choices and not repeating this over and over. They talk all the time about the circle of life but what about the circle of mistakes?

I feel blessed that I’ve always held direction in high regards. Every path I’ve taken has lead me to a greater understanding of my purpose. I’ve learned recently that my direction has not always been what my heart needed but always has protected me. I’ve been a leader a teacher a business builder a mother a grandmother a friend a best friend but not always a good person. Those are the directions I’m changing as I learn its who I encounter during my day that will lead me to my next direction and I will not let it take me and I will be conscience of my decisions and my surroundings each minute of each day.

I am truly thankful for my friends.

I like to think of myself as a good business person and always put my customers first but when a client puts themselves first where do I draw the line? I’ve worked hard on my portfolio and to tell one winery that their business practices don’t reflect mine is tough and I mean really tough. I live in a small town and when I add or drop a winery everyone knows and this is the first time in my life I won’t know what to say.

You know the saying it takes a lot of beer to make good wine well it takes a lot of great micro breweries to share camaraderie for 2500 to have a great time. The Firestone Walker Invitational today in Paso Robles was great! I loved the sour beer from Nebraska Brewing with raspberries. Yum
